The main global causes and effects are air pollution and global warming respectively. 

Our class found out why deforestation is such a problem and we looked at home at how many medications and food items are made with palm oil. 

Students worked on finding the effects of Climate Change locally and globally through research work and shared it with students in the class. This also helped students to know the effects of Climate Change in different parts of the world.

Students were given various links to articles which were about people and the changes they observed around them which was due to climate change.

Students of PYP accomplished numerous activities and gained knowledge about the effect of deforestation and industrialization on the environment. 

MYP and DP students interacted with a School in Japan. They discussed the local environmental problems in their own countries. 

A connection was established between SDGs and CAP

As greenhouse gas emissions blanket the Earth, they trap the sun’s heat. This leads to global warming and climate change. The world is now warming faster than at any point in recorded history. Warmer temperatures over time are changing weather patterns and disrupting the usual balance of nature. This poses many risks to human beings and all other forms of life on Earth.

An initiative was taken where the schools from other countries (pakistan, Brazil, UAE) participated in the video conferencing discussing the problem of climate change on global level

Students of IGCSE 1 discussed various reasons of global warming and what are the harmful effects of it on our Planet Earth.They also suggested ways to reduce global warming.They prepared charts and displayed it in the class.

Students of DAV Public School, Sector 49 Gurugram, participated in week 3 activities of Climate Action Project.They sung beautiful poems, songs, rap on effects of climate change.

We collaborated with a School in Brazil and children exchanged their thought about climate change and its actions.

With environmental challenges popping up faster than expected, children should be exposed to environmental awareness from an early age. Keeping in mind, we at Blue Bells Model School collaborated one more time with Litter@sea mission who brings together educators and students from across the world to fight the Plastic Pollution crisis, especially in the ocean. The aim of the school team comprised of Eco warriors, SDG club members and Design club was to participate in the activities related to environment conservation following SDG’s.

"Global warming is a slow rise in the earth's temperature that is typically brought on by the greenhouse effect, which is brought on by higher amounts of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants."

Through the Google Meet platform, where students and instructors exchange their opinions and understand the topics from other viewpoints, students communicated and shared their views on global warming with other schools. Our students collaborated with Beaconhouse Primary Campus in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan, and Ved Vyasa DAV Public School in New Delhi.

In their studies on critically endangered natural resources, our children also came to the realisation that coal will be one of the major difficulties our nation would confront in the future. Numerous things are in jeopardy because of this issue. Our students tested some of the top methods for disseminating this knowledge in the classroom and the neighbourhood in an effort to prevent others from misusing this resource. We therefore want to conserve electricity as much as possible.

Although used in conjunction with global warming, climate change doesn't specifically refer to warming or its causes. Thus, environmentalists often prefer this term because of its broader consideration of all the changes happening on the planet in addition to rising temperatures.

The third week students worked on donate a denim project this was a research based project as jeans takes gallons of ater to make and many years to disintegrate so they donated to a ngo for recycling ,students mede eco bricks and made small  furniture using plastic bottles which are a mojor cause recycle and to make recycling as a major project in the coming daysof climate change .students created awreness by interviewing their parents and decided 

In week 3 we collaborated with 4 countries namely turkey, Mexico, Brazil and Ukraine. It was a great learning experience indeed!! Our Children got an excellent platform to showcase their activities at global level. our kids are from grade 1 and 2 however they could interact well at international meets.

Electronic waste collection drive as a part of Climate Action Project at Sanjivani International School, Kharghar.

Understand your e – waste, regular trash is not the right place.

E-waste or ‘Digital rubbish’ is electronic products that are unwanted, not working, and nearing or at the end of their “useful life.” Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are everyday electronic products.

The ongoing challenge of how best to dispose off used and unwanted electronics isn’t a new one but an age old difficulty.

Continuing the same and to join hands as a part of a campaign, Sanjivani International School launched a drive to collect electronic waste from the students.

The drive was to raise awareness among the new generation, the harmful effects of e - waste and the threat that it poses. The event was coordinated by Nishigandha Devare under the able guidance of the Principal, Dr. Anurag Pandey.

Students from all the classes diligently collected the e- waste from their homes and their premises and deposited in the school. It was overwhelming to see the students who were sensitized with after effects of the e – waste and were contributing their bit to protect the environment. The articles collected by the students were printers, laptops, old phones, ear phones, chargers, compact discs and many more overall made 30kg of e waste.

Students involvement was the highlight of the movement.  Students made a cognizant effort to collect the e-waste and deposit them in the school.

E waste was collected by Rotary Club and Inner wheel Club. They were represented by Mr. K.M. Shirolkar and Ms. Somma Banerjee respectively.

Along with e waste, old shoes were also donated by the students. These shoes were collected by Greensole Foundation. The shoe donation was a help to the environment as they would be provided to under privileged students without burning the sole, a complete green process of reusing.

This mission helped students to understand the ways  to combat the crucial issue of electronic waste management.

Our team discussed on the causes and effects globally. They wrote a long list of causes and effects of climate change and possible solutions in ground level.

Learners took up claims for global issues , gave supporting evidences ( news articles & from internet) and finally came up with wondering questions based on their claim and research.

Causes of effects and globally:

          The burning of fossil fuels, cutting down of trees etc., causes the temperature of the earth to increase . High temperature changes the weather patterns, causing the dry areas to get drier and wet areas to get wetter. Thus increasing the frequency of disasters like floods, droughts ect., 

           Causes and effects of global warming essay:

         The emmissions of green house gases have caused global warming. One of the many effects of global warming is that it has led to an increase in the planet's temperatures. The leading cause of global warming is the release of harmful and toxic gases into the atmosphere. 

    What causes global warming:

            Global warming occurs when corbon di oxide (CO2) and other air pollutants collect in the atmosphere and absorb sun light and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth's surface.

             Global warming is the current rise in temperature of the air and oceans. It is happening mainly because humans burn coal, oil, and Natural gas; and cut down forests. Average temperatures today are about 1 degree C. Higher than before people started burning a lot of coal around 1750. Global warming is an aspect of climate change , refering to the long term rise of the planet's temperatures. It is caused by increased concentrations of green house gases in the atmosphere , mainly from human activities such as burning fossil fuels and farming.

What are the eleven effects of global farming:

          Global warming stresses eco systems through temperature rices, water shortages , increased fire threats , drought, weed , and pest invations , intense storm damage and saly invasions.

What are the effects of the climate change on our planet ?

THE  effects of the climate change are dangerous in this time. Sea levels are rising and oceans are becoming warmer and rising temperatures , land degradation , loss of wildlife and biodiversity .even warmer temperatures over time are changing weather. This many risks to human beings and also life on earth . Coming to health risks climate impacts are already harming health , through air pollution etc..,. Our planet’s diversity of life is at risk from the climate.

                                               The countries like Europe trees are grown here in cold climate they grow with ice , snow . But due to this global warming effect the temperature increases and these tress stop growing because ice and snow melts , so these trees completely stop growing.

And because of this global warming the temperature increases and the evaporation keeps on happening due to this we get heavy rains and lots of damages occur due to these rains.

And these rains destroy plants crops , roads etc.. and most important thing acid rains also damages historical monuments.

Climatic change has many consequences for plants , it may be heat waves , increased flooding , droughts .

The effects of global warming are rising carbon dioxide concentrations and the temperature directly effect plant growth , reproduction and resilience .

And the wildlife also gets disturbed in this because most of the birds and some animals find their home here , they get shelter, food so these climatic changes also effects wild life .

Plants support the global ecosystem by filtering carbin dioxide and providing vital oxygen to life if the earth . They also provide a habit for big and small and food for us . Without ous little green friends life on earth is impossible .

Climate change will effect soils , leading to changes in soil erosion , organic carbon , nutrients and alkalinity.

Nitrogen is the most important nutrients for plant growth . But during flooding events nitrogen is leached from the soil and plants nitrogen supply is interrupted.

Students identified some causes and effects of climate changes in their areas and in the world that all people are dealing with them. 

For Week 3, ILA students had the opportunity to share their presentation with Indian students from the K. R. Mangalam Global School to compare the effects of climate change in Okinawa and New Delhi.

Following interviews of older generations about their personal experiences and opinions on climate change, students researched scientific evidence for the effects of climate change on flora, fauna, weather and human activities/lifestyles, locally in Japan.

This week, students have been looking into global environmental issues. Communicating with their peers from Turkey, the Indians learned about the problems in their country. What steps are being taken to address these environmental issues?

Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School and students of Devrek Anatolian High School in India held an online lesson where they discussed local and global problems leading to climate change, the causes leading to climate change shared their work to prevent these causes.

The students are encouraged to look for online reading materials and resources to find the causes of water pollution, plastic waste and management. The students prepared presentation slides and presented in the classroom. The students are also encouraged to make a video presentation to take environmetal actions together. The students are encouraged and guided to clean plastic trash from home to be brought to the school for sending the trash to a local recycling company. The students are educated the danger of plastic trash and microplastics to humans health, environment, and sea creatures in oceans/rivers.

Rising temperatures are affecting our climate and as a result, it affects our environment and the functions it delivers. One such key function is nutrient replenishment. Climate change puts nutrient cycles at risk, which has a knock-on effect on soil fertility.Such effect is not only important in terms of preserving biodiversity and habitats, but it is also critical for agricultural activity and food security. More specifically, as soils become dryer with climate change, this impacts nitrogen and carbon concentrations which are the building blocks for plant growth

With rapid population growth and urbanization, Pakistan is facing the worst air quality for many years. Air pollution and climate change result from same sources i.e., fossil fuel burning, industrial processes, transport and agriculture activities.

Factors that Influence the Climate of Pakistan

For years now, humans have mistreated and contaminated the very environment that sustains them. But the broad concern for the environment can be so overwhelming that people don’t know what to do or where to start making a difference.

The list of issues surrounding our environment go on, but there are three major ones that affect the majority of them overall: global warming and climate change; water pollution and ocean acidification; and loss of biodiversity. These three issues need immediate attention and proactive action on our part to ensure conservation of the only habitable planet which we call our home. And, focusing attention on these three major topics will have a ripple effect on a number of smaller environmental issues like inefficient recycling systems and food waste.

During this week, students in grade six worked together online with students from Brazil and the United Arab Emirates to promote conversation and emphasize the significance of the most pressing climate challenges. Through this cooperation, new knowledge was gained, ideas were freely exchanged, and nations and organizations formed enduring links. This was a great learning experience for my students. They performed enthusiastically and were happy to make new friends. They also pledged that they will work for the betterment of the planet earth.

In the third week, the students watched a group of videos of countries such as Australia, Yemen and Egypt and the impact of climate change on them. Then the students in groups studied the global causes of mimic change and began to think about how they could change as young people.

Students were asked to interview other students from different school and ask their perception about the cause and effect of climate change locally and globally.

On  October 28, our school Unida Christian Colleges collaborated with Syria with their presentation about the solutions they have with the climate change. My students appreciated the collaboration as it is their first time to meet other students from other countries. We are grateful that this climate action project has been organized because of this a lot of people are engaged in improving or helping the Earth recover. 

Students were able to see themselves in the CAP website and appreciate videos from other schools/countries. Identified as one of the effect of climate change was the occurrences of super typhoons hence they shared their unique experiences about it. Clean-up drive was initiated after the sharing as a concrete manifestation of mitigating climate chnage.

We are participating in the project from the Yakakent district of Samsun. My students are 7/8 years old. Together, they researched the causes and consequences of climate change and prepared their videos.
We held our meetings and made our presentations with the participation of ikuls from Qatar and Turkey.

We talked about the work we have done by establishing cooperation between countries and brainstormed. It was important in terms of teamwork between countries and the opportunity to talk about my climate change activities.

We came tohether in Dudaklı which is a small village in Kestel BURSA as Hurriyet Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi and Hasan Ali Yucel Anadolu Lisesi since we desired to make our students gain the effects of climate change by using original ways. We collaborated to make a forest shower among the huge plane trees.  Through “Paint For Climate” activity Our students gave messages about climate change by painting each others faces. Finally we finished our activity by making a parade called “Walk For Climate”.

We argued about causes and effect locally and globally. We prepared a poster about connection between causes and effects. We also made a turtle from waste materials to attract people's attention. Recycle the waste materials.

We have met online and introduced each other. Talked about what we have done before. Sharing our former etwinning and erasmus project about climate action.

Global climate change is taking place due to the fact that environmental problems are experienced and environmental pollution is increasing. In cooperation with TEMA, we watched presentations on climate change with our students and talked about our students about the isue. We planted trees with our friends and teachers.

Irregular urbanization, damage to forests, erosion, destruction of natural vegetation, polluting land and sea vehicles, chemicals that harm the environment, pesticides are among the most important causes of increasing environmental pollution. It provides an environment for environmental pollution.  We work with our students to raise awareness.  Our students prepared a joint study by reaching their peers in different schools.

Aynı zamanda çevreyi temiz tutmak ve gerektiği kadar tüketim yapmak, tarım ve hayvancılık işlerinde ilaç kullanımını azaltmak gerekir. Parfüm ve deodorant kullanımı da küresel ısınmayı hızlandıran etkenler arasında yer alıyor.

DURING MORAL EDUCATION SESSION IN SCHOOL STUDENTS DISCUSSED AND PRESENTED THEIR WORK.

Modern global warming is the result of an increase in magnitude of the so-called greenhouse effect, a warming of Earth's surface and lower atmosphere caused by the presence of water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxides, and other greenhouse gases.

The main cause of climate change is burning fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. When burnt, fossil fuels release carbon dioxide into the air, causing the planet to heat up.

Stuedents collaborated and researched the about the causes and effects globally.

Students of New Indian Model School, Dubai collaborated with the Sister Nivedita School, Banglore, India. Students from both sides exchanged their views on climate change and provided solutions to tackle this problem.

Climate change and global warming are serious issues that need to be dealt with to protect our planet’s future. While that statement might seem dramatic, it’s unfortunately very true. Fighting global warming and climate change will take time, and without action taken soon to limit the global temperature rise, we will reach a point of no return.

2022 10 Climate Action Project

Hanoi Thanglong students studied the causes and effects of climate change before coming up with some solutions to climate change.

Students of the 8-th grade did their project on the environmental issues. What are the main causes and their effects? The first group of students made a factory which symbolize the main factor of the air pollution, this group also made a poster where it is explained the effect of air pollution. The second group of students made a green poster which symbolizes the life on earth that should be protected. The third group of students made a blue poster, which it was about the water pollution. A student found information about the climate changes. Two students worked on a video explaining what would happen to the earth and the climate if we do not take care of them.

Threatened species are any species (including animals, plants and fungi) which are vulnerable to endangerment in the near future. Species that are threatened are sometimes characterised by the population dynamics measure of critical depensation, a mathematical measure of biomass related to population growth rate. This quantitative metric is one method of evaluating the degree of endangerment

In order to find out what kind of environmental problems they are struggling with in other parts of the world, we watched video materials from three countries of the world. From USA, Nigeria and India. We have observed that most environmental problems occur in all areas of the world. Certain groups of problems stand out in some areas. In the USA, the biggest problem is deforestation and limited food production. Plastic and its recycling to produce useful things is a big problem in Nigeria. Plastic is one of the biggest problems in India as well. An interesting example is how to get rid of small pieces of plastic from the environment by stuffing them into plastic bottles and thus making them safe for the environment.

Working in groups made up of students from the same school, we created a database of 39 issues covering the areas of nutrition, transportation, energy and waste, water and forests. With 10 questions/statements, we have prepared a creative description in the form of feedback for three categories: Eco - reckless, Eko - interested and Eco - aware.

We formed a mixed group, and each school, selected several students who  , together with other members of  the mixed group in the Gotoquiz tool  , created Calculator by entering the created questions, points and feedback. Teachers helped with advice and knowledge in creating calculators.  23 students and teachers actively participated in the work of the mixed group.

Although our original idea was to create a calculator in Google forms because of the need to score each individual answer offered (5 alternative answers) within each question, by exchanging experiences and ideas, we opted for the web 2.0 Gotoquiz tool that met all our needs and requirements.

Our Calculator has been created and as such is available to everyone and we invite you to each other to calculate their own ecological footprint and, based on the achieved results and feedback on the relationship between modern man and natural resources, and to understand more closely their own contribution to sustainable development.

Climate change, week 3 - video from Ogulin, Croatia

Reflection on causes and effects of climate change and discussion about the results of intergenerational conversations. Collaboration on MS Teams and OneNote, searching the internet, watching videos, creating digital posters and more.
The activities were carried out on Computer Science classes and as homework.

Students discussed the impact of global changes on the water cycle in nature. Using recycled material, they created a 3D representation of water circulation in clean and unpolluted nature as well as polluted. They explained the circulation process, smog, acid rain and what changes cause water pollution and how we can prevent it.

The students of 1ere A  (12th grade) at Notre Dame Pamiers - South of France  spent a week researching, sharing, and talking about the causes, effects of climate change in our country. They created this video.

One of the consequences of climate change is the risk that some forms of life will disappear. This thought worried us and we became interested in endangered animals. We found images and created word clouds  (tag cloud).

They found a lot of information and learned how to distinguish trusted sources from not-so-reliable ones. Does the article have an author? Does it mention its sources? Does it have a date on it? In our lesson we discussed the effects of climate changes globally. What do we know about the world? What problems are there in other parts of the world?

connecting with Modern School, India and with HS of Gifted students Hanoi. We showed effects of climate change in Italy and they showed us their schools and the achievements in promoting a green school (MPS) . The students from Hanoi illustrated the main causes of climate change and showed us their city.

Here in Italy we have many causes of climate change such as using too many fossil fuels, especially in big cities like Rome and Milan. We also do not recycle properly and so much waste goes into the ocean. The effects are that our pollution level is so high many days the weather forecast says do not go outside to practice sport. Sometimes there is so much pollution on the beach and in the sea and it makes us sad. Also there is a big problem with taking care of our city. They government did not take care of the trees in the city and then they had to cut them down.

During this week,the students made a video, where they presented  environmental issues such as, pollution, water, biodiversity etc. They also connected with pupils from Romania, they disscussed about global causes and effects. The students planted some trees.

This week the students of our lyceum disscussed the local problems and learnt the global ones. First of all members of the team "Smile" prepared presentations about ecological problems in Moldova and delivered them in front of the classmates. Students created the posters on this topic. 10B form had an online meeting with partners from Macedonia and 12A form met with students from India. During the online lessons students exchanged and disscussed information about their participation in the project , about Climate Change in their countries. Also we saw the reports  "Week 2" of partners from all around the world and shared our impressions.

Elevii au observat creșterea plantelor în condițiile efectului de seră. Au reciclat creativ un acvariu decorativ dintr-un recipient utilizat anterior. Au creat o expoziție  de lucrări, pentru a atenționa importanța alimentației corecte.

În ultimii ani problemele de mediu au crescut și reprezintă un risc tot mai mare pentru continuitatea vieții planetei și a populației. Cele mai grave probleme de mediu sunt: încălzirea globală, defrișările excesive, poluarea, acidificarea oceanelor, extincția speciilor, ploile acide, poluarea apei , degradarea solului, eliminarea deșeurilor și problemele de sănătate publică.

Ploile acide reprezintă o problemă mai puțin mediatizată sau discutată însă care are un impact puternic asupra omenirii.

Ploile acide sunt precipitațiile care au un pH mai mic decât 5,6 sau în alte cuvinte ploi cu caracter acid pronunțat.

Acestea se creează asemănător ploilor obișnuite. Caracterul acid al ploii este căpătat în urma intrării în contact a vaporilor de aer cu dioxidul de sulf și oxidul de azot eliberat în atmosferă în timpul arderii de combustibili. (De exemplu: de către mașini, uzine, etc.)

Ploile acide au o răspândire neregulată pe glob, cu zone afectate mai grav și, respectiv, mai puțin. Cele mai afectate regiuni sunt: Europa de Est, Sud-estul Canadei, Coasta de sud-est a Chinei și insula Taiwan, Europa de nord-est, Nord-estul Statelor Unite, Polonia și mai nou se extinde și spre  Peninsula Scandinavă.

Efectele ploilor acide pentru mediu sunt, în special, devastarea pădurilor și a solului, a apelor stătătoare, devastarea clădirilor. Pentru oameni și alte vietăți, acestea creează probleme de sănătate cardiace și respiratorii. De asemenea, ele reprezintă cauza morții a numeroase specii de insecte și nevertebrate acvatice.

Pentru a diminua efectele devastatoare ale ploilor acide există anumite măsuri de prevenire, precum:  Crearea stațiilor de desulfurare sau dezvoltarea vehiculelor ecologice pe scară largă. În cazul apelor contaminate, cea mai buna soluție o reprezintă tratarea acestora.

În lume există mai multe organizații care au ca scop restaurarea ecosistemelor deteriorate de ploile acide, iar susținerea și promovarea acestora este o altă soluție pentru prevenirea efectelor ploilor acide.

În concluzie educarea noastră este un pas important în reducerea problemelor de mediu actuale. Modul în care acționăm și grijă noastră față de mediu ne vor ajuta să realizăm primii pași pentru combaterea acestor probleme. Societatea și mediul reprezintă părți inseparabile ale aceluiași întreg, iar aplicarea soluțiilor pentru a combate problemele provocate de noi înșine va asigura durabilitatea planetei.

Cele mai grave probleme de mediu sunt: încălzirea globală, defrișările excesive, poluarea, acidificarea oceanelor, extincția speciilor, ploile acide, poluarea apei , degradarea solului, eliminarea deșeurilor și problemele de sănătate publică.

Ploile acide reprezintă o problemă mai puțin mediatizată sau discutată însă care are un impact puternic asupra omenirii.

Ploile acide sunt precipitațiile care au un pH mai mic decât 5,6 sau în alte cuvinte ploi cu caracter acid pronunțat.

Acestea se creează asemănător ploilor obișnuite. Caracterul acid al ploii este căpătat în urma intrării în contact a vaporilor de aer cu dioxidul de sulf și oxidul de azot eliberat în atmosferă în timpul arderii de combustibili. (De exemplu: de către mașini, uzine, etc.)

Ploile acide au o răspândire neregulată pe glob, cu zone afectate mai grav și, respectiv, mai puțin. Cele mai afectate regiuni sunt: Europa de Est, Sud-estul Canadei, Coasta de sud-est a Chinei și insula Taiwan, Europa de nord-est, Nord-estul Statelor Unite, Polonia și mai nou se extinde și spre  Peninsula Scandinavă.

Efectele ploilor acide pentru mediu sunt, în special, devastarea pădurilor și a solului, a apelor stătătoare, devastarea clădirilor. Pentru oameni și alte vietăți, acestea creează probleme de sănătate cardiace și respiratorii. De asemenea, ele reprezintă cauza morții a numeroase specii de insecte și nevertebrate acvatice.

Pentru a diminua efectele devastatoare ale ploilor acide există anumite măsuri de prevenire, precum:  Crearea stațiilor de desulfurare sau dezvoltarea vehiculelor ecologice pe scară largă. În cazul apelor contaminate, cea mai buna soluție o reprezintă tratarea acestora.

În lume există mai multe organizații care au ca scop restaurarea ecosistemelor deteriorate de ploile acide, iar susținerea și promovarea acestora este o altă soluție pentru prevenirea efectelor ploilor acide.

În concluzie educarea noastră este un pas important în reducerea problemelor de mediu actuale. Modul în care acționăm și grijă noastră față de mediu ne vor ajuta să realizăm primii pași pentru combaterea acestor probleme. Societatea și mediul reprezintă părți inseparabile ale aceluiași întreg, iar aplicarea soluțiilor pentru a combate problemele provocate de noi înșine va asigura durabilitatea planetei.

Unified club, School for children with intelectual dissabilities, NVO Alfa cetntar and RE community organisation together reforestated Eco park Blace. Volunteers of our Unified club were teaching children with dissabilities how to plant a tree and by doing this help our planet.

We have met two times this week to discuss all our activities. We have decided how our main events look like and what kind of support we need to incorporate. Students have collaborated actively. The poster for our FB has been created. the idea of the poster is to inform the school and not-school society about the project and also attract public attraction to the problem of climate change. The climate discussion has been planned and our Geography teacher has planned time carefully to prepare the interesting form of the discussion.

We also had an interactive class with a school from Turkey.

This video compiles the different actions the students developed in this week. On the padlet that we hereby share there are several presentations done by the students who directly or indirectly work on this valuable project. On the Padlet Map, we would like to have other students attending different school in every single continent to either present a solution or raise awareness to other environmental threats. We would appreciate this global interaction. Thank you for cooperating with us.

Educarea și informarea elevilor cu privire la importanța grijii față de naturã, conservarea resurselor naturale, protejãrii apelor planetei și a colectãrii selective a deșeurilor reciclabile sunt esențiale. În acest sens, am discutat despre influența negativă a omului asupra mediului, despre principalele acțiuni care pot dăuna mediului (poluarea, despăduririle, epuizarea resurselor naturale limitate) și despre acțiuni concrete ce le putem face pentru a proteja mediul înconjurător. Prin intermediul unor prezentări și filmulețe video, am aflat cum să colectam selectiv deșeurile reciclabile acasă, sau la
școală, beneficiile plantării unui copac, arbust, sau a unei plante în ghiveciul de acasă și
îngrijirea lor, despre modul în care putem economisi consumul de apă și de electricitate,
despre importanța păstrării curate a locurilor din comunitatea în care trăim, a spațiilor
verzi, pădurilor, râurilor, lacurilor, mării! Am realizat desene sugestive pentru temele abordate.
 

Prescolarii au invatat un cuvant nou " poluare" si au descoperit modalitati in care este poluata natura. Dupa am invatat cum putem sa selectam gunoiul pe care il producem in clasa si acasa, iar acasa impreuna cu parintii au efectuat diferite experimente prin care au observat cum poluam apa.

Am discutat cu copilasii care sunt cauzele si efectele la nivel global , dupa care am identificat intr-o fisa cum putem face noi pamantul sa zambeasca mai mult.

Am discutat cu elevii despre cum văd ei o lume mai curată, mai ecologică. Am vizionat filmulețe despre ecologie.

Reprezintă o temă de interes mondial pe care o dezbat profesorii de diferite specialități,din toate țările,  dar mai ales profesorii care predau științe . Elevii mei s-au informat despre incalzirea globală, au realizat filme, postere, pliante pe această temă și obiecte din materiale reciclate.Copiii pot afla despre preocupările similare ale copiilor din alte țări realizarea de schimburi de bună practică, în cadrul diferitelor proiecte europene .

This week we discussed about EarthProject App, the effects of climate change on our planet at global levels,globalization,selected  locations and looked at causes and then the effects in the same area.In groups, students did research what the possible effects of climate change might be in the future.We discussed specific actions that could help prevent further problems and effects.

Also, this week we tried to find partners with suitable programmes to have a Zoom meeting and emails have been exchanged for such a meeting.

În săptămâna aceasta am organizat cu elevii o acțiune de ecologizare a malului lacului din apropiere. Am fost împreună 3 clase din școală și am adunat deșeuri pe care le-am colectat în saci menajeri.

We've studied the curriculum, the situation in other country from the globe, other continents, we've add in a calendar the activities we've watched, had discussion in school, with a representative ranger from Apuseni Natural Park and took pictures and notices. The situation seems to be the same in different countries, they are struggles with water quality, polution, drought, floods, less resources, the alarming increase in prices, etc.

The preschoolers from the large "Flowers" group today found out the causes and effects that produced climate change, they found out why landslides occur, why our marine life and wild animals die, but they also felt and smelled, literally , a water polluted with household waste, plastics and oil. Through the experiment carried out today, they were able to observe how marine life suffers when the waters are polluted, how they can get stuck in plastic bottles from which they cannot escape...it made them sad a little...but we are convinced that through them, the world will change and we hope for the better....

This week we prepared some works on the topic of the project. A video clip, a poster and a PPT presentation were made by the most active and dedicated students.

În cadrul acestei activități copiii au observat fructul necomestibil ghindă și pentru că unele ghinde aveau deja mugurași am hotărât ca fiecare copil să planteze o ghindă pentru a obține o mică plantă.Totodată am plantat un pom fructifer în curtea grădiniței. 

Am facut cunostinta cu Proiectul Educatie la Inaltime si am urmarit o lecție unică, pe vârful Omu,  o lecție specială de la stația meteorologică, așezarea umană locuită permanent aflată la cea mai mare altitudine din România. Cea mai dificilă misiune a echipei ”Educație la Înălțime” a fost sa   transporte echipamentele de transmisie și de filmare la peste 2500 de metri altitudine. O lecție realizată cu ajutorul sistemului de internet prin satelit dezvoltat de Elon Musk.

Am descoperit biodiversitatea la Gradina Zoo din Bucuresti.

Elevii au realizat machete inspirați de imaginile din alte țări. Imaginea redată este dintr-o rezervație/parc unde familia este la relaxare. Copiii se joacă volei în parc, pictează, în timp ce părinții îi supraveghează de pe bancă. tot spațiul înconjurător emană sănătate, curățenie, liniște. Natura este în vegetație, apa albastru-cristalin iar florile deosebit de frumoase. Deșeurile sunt colectate în spațiile special amenajate, iar iluminatul se realizează prin panouri solare.

Elevii au urmărit un film despre cauzele încălzirii globale, apoi au purtat discuții despre acestea și despre efectele pe care le are încălzirea globală.

În cadrul activității de astăzi, am urmarit un filmuleț despre efectele schimbărilor climatice, apoi am redat prin desen aceste cauze. Fiecare preșcolar și a susținut lucrarea.

Identificarea cauza-efect actiuni la nivel local si global. Conexiune virtuala cu elevii din Ankara - Turcia. au avut un schimb de experiențe în mediul online cu colegii lor de la o școală din Ankara, Turcia. In urma discuțiilor au stabilit care sunt problemele de mediu din zona lor și din România și care sunt acțiunile ecologice desfășurate la nivel local și implicit școlar. 

După o discuție cu elevii, aceștia au realizat postere în care au evidențiat aspectele discutate.

Pentru această activitate am discutat cu elevii despre efectele poluării mediului și a încălzirii globale la nivel global. iar pentru a ne putea ajuta, am confecționat din materiale reciclate o navă spațială.

Earth's story continued this week. Through an experiment we found out what happens if we cut down trees and if we pollute nature with waste, thus discovering the causes and effects of climate change.

This week we interacted with students from Brazil. They asked us several questions through a video, with an ecological theme, and we answered them in the same way with answers about our area.

Children painted and drew the changes that are visible in nature.They exposed their work on the school s walls for everybody to see.

The students point out that all the effects of the climate change are the result of pollution, which comes from fumes from too many cars, from industrial plants and so on, and that can be visible in the thinning of the ozone layer, in the number of species on the verge of extinction, in the deterioration of people's health. Measures should and can be taken, on condition that people become more aware and responsible. The younger generation has the important role to awake the mankind  before it is too late.

The effects of climate change are increasingly visible in Romania and internationally, be it intense heat waves, drought which destroys agricultural production, floods or threats to the address biodiversity caused by wildfires.Although numerous opinion polls indicate that climate change is considered by Romanians and Europeans to be a major challenge, with which we we face in the 21st century, understanding causes, effects and modalities to respond to climate change remains limited. Information and education about the causes, effects and ways to reduce the intensity of climate change is essential and at the center of it must be find a dialogue between experts and society. Responding effectively to change climate change involves a partnership between governments and citizens, as well as decisions at the level individual.

We connected with other students from 2`nd grade from Republic of Moldavia and debated on what is our duty to do in order to reduce global warming.

În sala de clasă am vorbit despre procesul de încălzire globală. Elevii au realizat o listă cu toate cauzele și efectele produse. Au înțeles de ce verile și iernile sunt mai calde, de ce se topesc ghețarii, de ce crește nivelul mării, de ce apar noi boli, de ce au loc inundații și oamenii se refugiază în alte zone. 

Al şaselea raport al Grupului interguvernamental de experţi al ONU (IPCC) a fost lansat în august 2021, conţine peste 3.000 de pagini şi este semnat de 234 de oameni de ştiinţă și aprobat de reprezentanții a 195 de guverne. Experții care au scris raportul au fost selectați pe baza expertizei lor și fac parte din tot mai multe țări. - După aproape zece ani de cercetări, acest raport concluzionează ca „fără echivoc, influenţa umană a încălzit atmosfera, oceanele şi suprafeţele terestre”

Autorii raportului arată că temperaturile globale au crescut deja cu 1,1 grade Celsius începând din secolul al XIX-lea, ajungând la cel mai ridicat nivel din ultimii 100.000 de ani, în timp ce doar o mică fracţiune din această creştere poate proveni din cauze naturale. - Aproape toată încălzirea care a avut loc pe Pământ poate fi pusă pe seama emisiilor de gaze cu efect de seră, care captează căldura, cum ar fi dioxidul de carbon şi metanul. Cel mult, cauzele naturale sau factori întâmplători, ar putea fi responsabili pentru 0,1 sau sau 0,2 dintr-un grad de temperatură, se arată în raport.

Pentru Europa, raportul prevede o creștere a frecvenței și intensității fenomenelor meteorologice extreme, inclusiv a valurilor de căldură marină și avertizează că o creștere cu 2°C a temperaturii medii globale, va avea efecte critice pentru natură și oameni. - Creșterea temperaturilor și intensificarea fenomenelor meteorologice vor genera, de asemenea, costuri uriașe pentru economia UE și vor afecta capacitatea țărilor de a produce alimente. - Cu toate acestea, potrivit oamenilor de știință, acțiunea umană poate schimba cursul evenimentelor. - Reducerea imediată, rapidă și pe scară largă a emisiilor de gaze cu efect de seră și atingerea unui nivel net al emisiilor de CO2 egal cu zero, au potențialul de a limita schimbările climatice și efectele acestora

In order to learn as easily as possible how not to pollute the environment, we will draw conclusions through experiments.

Week 3 of Climate Action Project revolved around sensitizing the students towards the Effects of Climate Change.

Students were encouraged to reflect on the disastrous repercussions on our planet due to our thoughtless actions.

We explore what causes global warming globally. We found out a lot of new things. We do an experiment with ice melting. We gave our solutions to prevent global warming.

We watched shows about the causes and consequences of climate change. We explained causes and effects in two ways. We made a panel with cut pictures from newspapers.In a 3 d installation made of recycled and natural material, we created effects, causes and effects. We organized a workshop with parents and planted flowers. Then we recycled bags and made the planet Earth in the yard and decorated it with the flowers we planted. Interactive dramatization story "Lake". We developed environmental awareness. In a workshop with dads, we made Eco cars in the kindergarten yard. Using the paper mache technique, we made a flying balloon. 

We have concluded all together walking around our school there are many issues causing climate change: People go by car instead of walking to school or by bike. There is a lot of CO2 from the nearby factories. We have seen deforestation in our forests. Many buildings built every year.

We learnt from a far away country with different culture and traditions but yet with the very same interest in trying to strive and do their best in understanding the global issue of climate change: its possible solutions and actions from schools to change the trend of the effects that affects fauna, flora, ways of life together with weather patterns.

We came together with the teachers and students of Hasan Ali Yücel Anatolian High School and Hürriyet Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, one of the schools of our city, in the village of Liplı in Kestel district, in order to bring the effects of climate change to students in unique ways within the scope of the CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT, which our school carried out jointly with 149 countries.
On the lip tree road, the students of both schools worked in cooperation and held a forest bathing event. As part of the paint for CLIMATE activity, the students drew the messages they wanted to give for nature on each other's faces using face paints. We finished our activity by walking together for nature.

We planned a trip to Gölbaşı Lake to take attention of water deficiency in Gölbaşı Lake in Bursa/Türkiye. It has dried up ,Students have showed the effects of global warming ,the lake is 20 km away from their homes .In our close environment we witness changes of climate.They have decided to inform people to be more conscious in their behaviours.

It was nice to meet them.

We designed an experiment to understand the effect of carbondioxide gase to the atmosphere. I explainde the green house effect nd green house gases to the students before making the experiment. We spoke about the rise of carbondioxide gase amount in the air, which is also a green house gase. We discussed about the possible effects of rise of carbondioxide gase in the air. We concluded that rise of  carbondioxide gase amount, which is especially produced by using fosil fuels, absorbs more sun light and thus makes the air much warmer than needed and eventually causes global warming.
