What is climate change?   

The change in the parametres of whether conditions like rain,humidity,heat,snowfall etc over the year is called climate change.Climate change (or global warming), is the process of our planet heating up. Scientists estimate that since the Industrial Revolution, human activity has caused the Earth to warm by approximately 1°C. While that might not sound like much, it means big things for people and wildlife around the globe.

What is causing climate change locally?

Increasing population

Deforestation

Overuse of natural resources

Indiscriminate use of chemicals 

Increasing number of vehicles

We are a group of enthusisastic young kids of grade 4 and 5.

We are going to:

• Motivate people to take care of  the environment.
• Create awareness about segregation of house hold waste.
• Importance of using cotton or jute bags.
• Organize drives for cleanliness.
• Gift plant saplings to each other on every important ocassions
• Each one of us will plant aatleast a sapling on our birthday.
• Promote upcycling in our city.
