“The interaction of knowledge and skills with experience is a key to learning”.
We at Millennium World School, Faridabad believe that interactive learning
makes a difference. Difference in thought, suggestions and way of living.
As a part of the Climate Action Project, a special session was
arranged for the students and facilitators . It was a highly interactive yet
informative session where our school students presented their view points and
suggestions on what are the causes and effects of climate change (both locally
as well as globally).
It was followed by Question/Answer session round where the students from
both the countries exchanged their ideas on what their respective state
government and they themselves as individual citizens are doing to prevent
pollution and reduce the climate change.
The students had pledged about planting more and more trees and taking up the
climate action project forward for a sustainable environment in future. They
shared their photographs and clips to suggest the ways in which they can
contribute towards this bit.
The session was very well presented with utmost enthusiasm as our school has
taken a step ahead to stand together for a better and sustainable living.
The overall objectives were very well sufficed as the students were able to
understand the difference in the climatic changes that are occurring in different
corners of the world due to different reasons. Thus, they got an expanded view
of the causes of climate change and global warming not only locally but
globally as well.
They could collaboratively further understand the effects these causes bring
upon the environment as well as the living beings followed by the steps, they
should follow to eradicate this problem.
The virtual interaction was up to the mark and the students could gain lot of
knowledge out of it by understand how a good environment plays an important
role for sustainable living.
