Mariana Mușat has a degree in Biology and a doctorate in Educational Sciences. She is currently a professor at the "Ion Luca Caragiale" National College in Ploiești and an associate professor (university lecturer PhD) at the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești, Department of Educational Sciences. She has published over 50 articles in journals and in national and international conferences volumes and has been part of the authors or coordinators for more than 10 books, including: "Approaches to health education", "Bioactive principles from plants","Biology tests grades XI-XII", "Message for health", "Romanian journal of education and culture Paideia", "Contributions to sustainable development", "Ecology applied in the conditions of global warming" and others. She has also participated in national and international projects, among which we mention: "Health education fair", "National Education and Environment Project", "Erasmus + Time for tea", "Patrula eco" etc.
