I, Shalini Chauhan am a Mathematics Educator at Indirapuram Public School, Indirapuram, India. I am passionate about learning and have always tried to expand my knowledge by pushing my limits. Being in a field of education I have got an opportunity to live my passion. Since the very beginning I have believed that it’s my duty to grow pro rata the journey of my students so that I can provide them with contemporary knowledge.

With over two decades of experience in school education, I have always strived to find novel techniques to facilitate robust and pragmatic education of my students. I hold Masters’ degree in Economics and have also qualified CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility test). I am enthusiastic about helping the underprivileged of our society and in this regard have undertaken the responsibility of teaching many indigent children. I have contributed research papers on SDG goals and written articles for different platforms, such as Cambridge TOT community and Highr TeacherEd. I have also moderated Tweet Chats on Twitter, shared my views on Professional Development at Community Radio platform and on Mathematical skills in an interview on Radio: Shakti with Mathematics and conducted live session for teachers on different topics like: Activity-Based Classroom, how to use online tools in remote teaching etc. I am an active member of NGOs ‘Nirbhed Foundation’ and TIES. (Teaching and working for SDGs 4 & 5). I have got selected in top 100 Educators in T4 challenge for sharing solutions on global issues. My idea was to promote SDG 4&5.

I am the recipient of Global Teacher Award 2020, Forum of Public Schools Teacher Award, shortlisted among top 10 finalists for Wakelet Community Impact Award and Awarded among Top 50 Better Learning Moments, The Great Indian Women award, presented on different Global platforms like DIGCITInstitute (DigCitSummit & DigCitImpact), CENTA, Global Educator Group, CBSE Bharat Sahodaya Complex, RiseupforSDGs Cambridge India, TECH(K)NOW DAYS and have been a part of Global projects along with my students to promote #UseTechforGood, Digital Citizenship and SDGs.
