For most of the above-mentioned projects I organised a final international conference. I an interested in innovative teaching methods and tools to actively engage students in lessons and increase their participation. In 2010 I took part to a Comenius In-Service Training Course about CLIL methodology. In 2011/12 I attended an online training course on CLIL by Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and since then I have been planning and implementing CLIL modules combined with action research activities in cooperation with subject teachers. I currently attend online courses mainly on 21st century teaching strategies offered by the European Schoolnet Academy, Microsoft Educator Community, and the Teacher Academy at the School Education Gateway, as well as eTwinning Learning Events. I also run eTwinning projects in cooperation with CLIL subject teachers and European colleagues. In 2017/2018 I was partner in two eTwinning projects aimed at teaching SDGs 2030 and stimulating pupils to face the challenge and take action. I was recognized as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert 2018/2019. To support colleagues in enhancing innovation in their classroom in the school year 2018/19 I implemented a KA1 Erasmus+ project designed to train teachers to adopt teaching methods that best promote the acquisition of 21st century skills. I have also been teacher trainer since 2016 and I was a member of the Italian community for mentors of newly appointed teachers within INDUCAS (2017/2018), a pilot project funded by the European Union, which aimed at investigating how beginning teachers and mentors can be better supported through a community of peers facing similar issues.
