Climate change is the change in the global climate which results in catastrophic changes across the world, such as the rise of the global temperature (global warming).

Climate change is precipitated by the most common activities known to mankind, such as:

• Burning coal, oil, and gas
• Cutting down forests (deforestation)
• Fertilisers containing nitrogen
• Factories and vehicles
• Wastage of water.

In my locality, one of the main factors that contribute to climate change is the formidable air pollution in the Delhi NCR; world’s most polluted region in terms of air. With an ever-growing population comes the rising pollution which breaks all global air quality records annually.
