In my 12th year of teaching French language and culture, connecting classrooms to the UN Global Goals en francais has been my greatest passion. Introducing students to global concerns that can be remedied, in some cases, by changing our local habits, helps students feel empowered about their future. Connecting my students with French speaking countries around the globe allows them to develop cultural sensitivity and a new appreciation for the world they live in. #GoalsProject is a powerful way to collaborate with classrooms around the world and share our mission to create a sustainable world. This project, only possible with the inter-connectivity of social media, helps us understand the incredible responsibility of technology on a global scale. Locally, I am involved in the following organizations: GreenCityCommunity, One Earth Film Festival, EarthX 2020
