I have been teaching biology and environmental science at Timber Creek Regional High School since 2006. I bring a variety of experiences (ranging from paleontological research to clinical research in oncology to make my classroom a realistic scientific environment. A connection to the arts guarantees the role of creativity and self-expression in my classes. My doctoral research focused on the role of environmental justice in motivating my students, who saw firsthand the importance of science in society through my participation in planning the March for Science this past spring.
