Just reading and learning makes the topic boring. To involve my students in a fun and engaging way, I asked them to look for the changes in their immediate environment and compare them with the past by speaking to their parents and grandparents. This activity helped my curious students to list and explore the causes of climate change on their own. The kids then explained / presented their learnings and findings in the class and prepared/ gave presentations to make others also aware of the same.
Prevention is better than cure, we all have heard of this quote and have implanted it some or the other way in our lives. For a fact, it's known that climate change has started and now is the time to act otherwise it will be too late and what's left will just be regret. Moving towards sustainable development, reducing carbon emissions, limiting the use of non renewable resources are just the tip of the ice berg.
