We are a middle school in rural northeast Iowa in the USA. We live in a unique biome called "The Driftless Area" characterized by limestone caves, bluffs, and rivers. We are lucky to live in this area that was missed by the flattening glaciers of the last ice age 10,000 years ago. Our town has a population of about 8,000 people and we are the county seat.
