Climate Change

•Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, but since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and gas), which produces heat-trapping gases.

Effects of Climate change

The effects of global warming can be seen and felt across the planet. Global warming is the gradual heating of Earth's surface, oceans and atmosphere, is caused by human activity, primarily the burning of fossil fuels that pump carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

the effects of global warming are visible and can be measured.

Ice is melting in both polar ice caps and mountain glaciers. Lakes around the world warming rapidly. Animals are changing migration patterns and plants are are budding their leaves earlier in the spring and dropping them later in the fall.

Global Causes and Effects of Climate Change

The climate change is causing deep concerns for the people around the world. The use of fossil fuels for producing electricity emits gases like carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxides which lead to global warming. Deforestation is also leading to warmer temperatures. The hazard of global warming is continuously causing major damage to the Earth's environment. It affects ecosystems and disturb ecological balance.
