EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON OUR CITY

The students had tried to look into the local effects of the climate change. The city , Vadodara is devoid of the river that used to filter it . The river Vishwamitri ha turned into a potential cause of flood due to its incapability to cutail the water flow causing flash floods for the past 2 years . They also spoke to their grandparents to understand the transition of the city too.

Environment Issues

The students went through the materials and the ted talks about the climate issues . They were able to pin at the issues of the world . They are now discussing solutions ...next week they will come with the solutions on the issues they feel pertinent about .

The students could forsee the potential problems and also could give the soluttions to the problems they  could suggest sloutions for the same in their little way.

Small steps .... Giant leap

The students explored ways and means to reduce the effects of the climate change . They showed how small measures taken can culminate into bigger difference . They are concerned as they have only one home ...the Earth. They have left their classes and seeked awareness so that all of us can have a prolonged stay here .

Write to the ones with might

Children penned their thoughts in form of a letters to various government officials asking them to make system changes so that people do not abuse the climate . Reading through their letters gave an insight of their concerns and measures that can be taken.
