Accomplishments:

• Awarded Best Teacher of ‘Environment, Health and Population’ by the Kaheshwori Manohara Municipality, Kathmandu in 2019 AD.
• The school won the ‘Nationwide Clean Up & Poster Competition 2018’  conducted by Clean Up Nepal & Australian Embassy.

•   Himalayan Heroes Movement

  – a student’s movement to create a cleaner, healthier & safer Nepal.

  (70+ schools of Kathmandu have joined the movement till date)

  Current actions:

  1. Awareness campaigns on plastic pollution, deforestation & on issues that harms our environment.
  2. Ground actions – Community & trail clean ups, door to door awareness drives, street plays
  3. Assisting schools adopt sustainable waste management practices & developing partnerships with solid waste management companies to achieve the same.
